What the students say:
''Javier was a joy - he has an enthusiasm and energy which is contagious and inspirational. The most important factor to a successful course is arguably the tutor and Javier struck a great balance between making the course demanding yet very good fun''
Sandra, March 2006 Masterclass
''I would like to thank you again for the extraordinary week. You
took the most difficult concepts in photography and digital
photography, and made them accessible and concrete. I loved your
energy and passion. With any other instructor I don't think I could
have digested that much information in such a short time span. But
with your eagerness to part with the secrets of professional
photographers, these concepts seemed quite straight forward and I'm
ready to tackle the digital world!''
Ruby, Feb 2006 Masterclass
''What a fantastic week, I cannot express my gratitude enough. I feel
totally
liberated able now to go out with near total confidence & use my
camera as the tool it should be. And what is more I look at pictures
totally informed now questioning lighting techniques & all.
Fantastic! Thank you a million times''
Gerry, Feb 2006 Masterclass
''I thoroughly enjoyed the course and the teacher Javier was excellent. I learnt so much and am looking forward to using my new skills in this area and furthering my interest. I hope to fulfil my dreams in Photography, I have truly been inspired.''

This masterclass is about understanding the roots of light, composition, colour, lighting, processing and retouching; an intensive week that can transform the way you use your camera and you look at the world around you.
The course is ideal for all levels, from beginners to professionals. Beginners who are ready to be focused during this intense week, will advance enormously in their understanding of this art. Professionals will be able to go deeper into their craft and will review the whole process from the roots.
The key difference between professionals and amateurs is the depth of understanding of the roots of their craft, in this case, Photography. You can practice for years any craft but if you haven´t understood the roots behind what you are doing, its possible that you won´t be able to go beyond a certain level. This course, by helping you understand the roots of light, color, composition, exposure, digital processing, advanced retouching and others, puts you in the position to move towards professional photography or if you are already a professional, to review and discover even more depth within your craft.
The first two days and a half of this masterclass are focused on the Photography taking process.
The second half of the third day deals with the processing and printing of the photos.
The fourth day shows you in videos and slides some of the tricks that professionals use when retouching.
Finally, the fifth day is used for free exercising, consultation and practice.
